Dana Hagenbuch is Founder and Principal of DH Search, a national search firm that connects extraordinary talent with organizations creating transformative impact. Working in nonprofit executive search for more than 18 years, Dana brings the experience of larger firms paired with exceptional client service and attention of a boutique agency. 

Prior to forming DH Search, Dana served as Vice President at Commongood Careers (now Koya Leadership Partners) and was part of a team that served more than 250 nonprofits on 700+ searches nationwide. From there, she headed up talent acquisition at Summer Search, a national youth mentoring organization, where she led searches for multiple C-level, VP-level, Executive Director, and senior positions in five regions across the country. Since launching DH Search in June 2019, she has led more than 50 searches with organizations in the education, youth development, economic development, impact investing, and global development fields. With a clear commitment to creating a more diverse and equitable sector, more than 60% of placements self-identify as people of color.
